Adarsh Girijan Pragati Vidyalaya (or Ideal Tribal Progressive School) is a residential school initially for 50-100 children where children could stay till end of their meaningful education and under constructive guidance and discipline. Necessary efforts will be made for the improvement of their physical, mental and moral growth of the children. For this purpose a building with minimum facilities is proposed to be constructed on the land which has been purchased from money donated by Shaila Rao, through M/s. Shared Blessings, USA. The school will be run and looked after by Integrated Development Society, an NGO with nearly two decades of experience in the development field. All the sponsored children being the first time learners of their family will get the benefit of this school.

In order to ensure quality education and to embed these children with proper schooling and education, it is proposed to start a residential school from standard one. All the sponsored children will be given the opportunity to study in this school. The School will be started initially with about 50 children with admission in standard one. In order to improve the memory power & arithmetic skills of the children, Abacus method of teaching/ training will also be used. The minimum resources required for running the School including the Govt. permission will be arranged by IDS from other sources.
